I am a qualified, experienced Gestalt Therapist registered with the UKCP and currently training in Nature Allied Psychotherapy. My specialisms and areas of interest include anxiety as an embodied experience, relationship dynamics and identity and difference. As an embodied relational practitioner I work with the interplay of mind and body. I invite you to bring attention to your felt sense of what might be going on for you in the here and now, as well as your story. I am Visiting Tutor at the Gestalt Centre London (GCL), Gestalt Trainer at Re-vision and offer workshops on my areas of interest at GCL, WPA and in other organisations. I also facilitate Gestalt groups, a dynamic arena for growth and change.
I take a contemporary approach to talking therapy, integrating contemporary Gestalt therapy with current thinking on the mind-body relationship. I believe the relationship with your therapist is central, at times highlighting old patterns of relating that might no longer be useful to you, and offering a healing experience. I offer a collaborative, creative and intuitive approach to my work that regards all forms of relating as communication - including fast talking, silence, looking away, blankness or stuckness. Come and try it out!
I run a private practice and have previously worked for the London Practice. I have over nine years of clinical experience and over 15 years working in the voluntary sector, including at Kensington and Chelsea Mind.
