Therapists

Welcome to my page, I invite you to take your time in getting to know me as it's important you choose the right therapist for you. Looking for a therapist can be overwhelming as there are many counsellors working in varied ways, how can you find out what's right for you? I hope the next section gives you an idea of how I work and what I feel is important for my clients. My experience as a Humanistic Counsellor allows me to support adults (18+) during distressing times. When you are grieving, anxious, or feeling lonely, talking to a safe and trusted counsellor can be a powerful and healing experience. Our relationship is the most important thing in our work. I can't be an expert in everything, no one can, but I have the skills and experience in helping my clients work out what's best for them. What are your unique feelings and emotions around the problem you bring and how you are dealing with it (or not)? We could unpack and examine where you are. You might just want me to listen to you. You possibly might like me to challenge you. You may decide you do not want to go there at all. It's up to you it's your space and time with me. I am interested and have experience in family dynamics, relationship issues, drug use and abuse, feeling stuck, having low mood, anger, shame and loss. I have been around the block a few times in my life and I feel I can bring all of that experience and learning alongside me when we meet. I like to work with metaphors in a creative way to explore issues. To our therapeutic relationship, I promise to bring empathy, honesty and respect, whilst you provide expertise in the one thing that really matters in all this … you. My counselling room in Saltdean is a comfortable and private, non-judgmental space to talk about whatever it is that you want, with the assurance of confidentiality. There is ample parking on the street outside with no charges. I also work in central Hove (BN3) based within easy walking distance of Hove railway station. I can also meet online Please contact me to arrange a free 15 min call or video chat to discuss your needs and ask any questions you may have. Thanks for stopping by and whatever you decide I wish you all the best.
