Hi, I'm Jade (she/her), and I offer one-to-one sessions with individuals over 18 years of age, either in person or remotely. I appreciate that the search for the right therapist takes time and care, so I offer a free phone consultation for us to get to know each other and figure out if we are a good fit. Subsequent sessions are priced at £55. I also offer reduced-rate spaces for those on a low income. Please enquire for more detail of these spaces. If you have any further questions or would like specific details of processes, locations or what to expect from our first session please do not hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to speaking with you soon. www.jadetherapy.co.uk

I see therapy as a space for you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself. You might be feeling confused or overwhelmed by emotions you are experiencing. Whether you're seeking support for a difficult situation in the present or trying to process experiences from the past it can be helpful to have someone to talk to. I offer a safe, non judgmental and confidential space to work through whatever is causing you unease or distress. As a humanistic practitioner my work is client led, supportive and empathetic. Your unique experience is my focus and we will take things at your pace. In my work I acknowledge that social, cultural, and economic pressures may significantly impact you and that it’s important to recognise the diverse factors that can influence your wellbeing. My approach is to consider and address these various aspects in our work together.

I am therapeutically trained in humanistic approaches with an emphasis on existential philosophy and how we experience emotions through the body. My expertise lies within neurodiversity and I have worked within charities and organisations supporting people with varied and complex needs for over 7 years. Currently, I volunteer as a counsellor for an LGBTQ+ mental health charity and work in a way which supports and champions gender, sexuality and relationship diversity. I’m passionate about providing access to therapy for marginalised groups and my approach reflects this. My experience spans a range of issues, including anxiety, stress, depression, spirituality, gender dysphoria, body dysmorphia, trauma, sex and relationships, non-monogamy, low self-worth, neurodivergence (particularly ASD and ADHD), grief, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm.
