Generally Counselling helps you to improve your sense of wellbeing, alleviate distress, resolve crises, increases your ability to solve problems, opens up different perspectives and also empowers you to make your own decisions and begin to bring together the pieces of your life. Mindfulness, Counselling and Psychotherapy helps those struggling with everyday issues and in need of additional support to manage and work through challenging events in their life. It can also identify negative patterns of relating or behaviour so that you can make more informed choices and develop more positive strategies and patterns going forward. Psychotherapy may be more helpful for psychological problems that have built up over the years that may need further exploration My role is to help you make sense of what is happening and not just label your experience. I offer empathy and space where you can feel valued and talk in comfortable surroundings.
