Hello, and a warm welcome. I am Tina, and I am a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor/psychotherapist. I work holistically, integrating mind–body-spirit intelligence within and focusing on you as a whole person. I have a deep believe that we all have divine wisdom within us, when we tap into, it can guide us towards healing, self-love, empowerment, peace, and more fulfilling life. I have always enjoyed getting to know people, their stories, perceptions, individuality, and uniqueness. But more importantly, my passion is rooted in helping people to find their own medicine, or pathway to what they are seeking at times. I know that life can be tough with many challenges. As a part of my training, I had to go through my own healing journey, facing my wounded childhood, family struggles, ancestors’ patterns to find my sovereignty, confidence, and authenticity. In the process, I learnt how important it is to be self-aware and to maintain positive attitude with compassion and kindness. As life is ever changing, the journey of self-discovery never truly ends. However, with the right support and guidance we can navigate our life more gracefully. I offer support for teenagers 16+ and adults with variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, family issues, relationship issues, separation, coping with life changes, attachment issues, childhood trauma, abuse, dissociation, and helping them to identify their needs/boundaries, apply self-care, and emotional regulation. I provide face to face, telephone, or online counselling. Prior to booking I offer 30 min free Face - Face, Zoom or telephone consultation, during which we can sense whether working together feels right.

My approach is based on the importance of trust in the therapeutic relationship between me as the therapist and you as the client, where we are actively engaged in shaping the process, going deeper into your hurts, and assisting you with desirable outcome. My foundation is rooted in Person-centred tradition, where core conditions of Empathy, Congruence and Positive regard are part of my way of being with every individual. I believe that we all have within us the ability to heal ourselves and it is my goal as a therapist is to help facilitate your healing process, and to provide you with tools you can use in daily life to continue that journey. My endeavour is to foster your emotional health, promote self-awareness, enhance your confidence, and invite to your life more harmony and balance. I offer a non-judgmental safe space where you can bring any distress, challenges, dilemmas, fears, and limited believes that no longer serve you or holding you back in life. In your own pace, we can explore their origin, and consider new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating with these obstacles you are facing. ‘Know-thyself’, is a pivotal foundation for our personal growth and empowerment. I am particularly passionate about inner child work, healing and integrating those wounded parts of self that have been shut down at some point in life and finding your authentic self. I believe that our fundamental purpose in life is to recognise our sense of self, and to be as unique as we possibly can. It is our birth right. Apart from conventional therapy, I’ve been fortunate to gain knowledge and guidance from alternative healing methods, including mindfulness/meditations, shamanic practices, pranic healing, intuitive energy healings and quantum manifestation. To access our hidden feelings, at times, we need to go beyond words, using intuition, immediacy (power of now), imagery, bringing attention to your body sensations, to support all aspects of the therapeutic process. Energy healing methods proved to be a powerful complement to traditional talking therapies.

I am a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor with 12+ years of experiences working for different organizations across Sussex, both in community and school-based counselling, supporting individuals and families with multiple difficulties. Besides my private practice, I work as a counsellor at the YMCA DLG offering therapy to young people aged 11 to 18 years old. I am a BACP registered, and practice within the BACP ethical framework. I offer long or short-term therapy. I warmly welcome a wide range of clients. As each person is unique, my practice is constantly evolving, working collaboratively, in the therapeutic relationship, with a strong focus on trust, respect and compassion. I have additional training in focusing, mindfulness/meditations, shamanic practices, pranic healing, intuitive energy healings and quantum manifestation. I've ran Awakening retreat over the last few years together with my dear college friend, where we focused on heart opening, compassion, and inner child work. Being there for others, assisting people to become their authentic version of self, seeing their transformations, and witnessing how resilient and resourceful humans can be in their essence is truly a humbling and inspiring experience.
